Orchard View needed to create genuine gathering spaces for their employees — both indoors and outdoors — turning underused common areas into places people actually wanted to spend time during the workday. Orchard View’s existing common areas weren’t being used the way they were intended. Without comfortable, well-designed seating, employees had little reason to step away from their desks and into a shared space — missing out on the kind of informal connection and mental break that makes a workday genuinely sustainable. Orchard View needed a solution that worked across both their indoor common area and their outdoor space, creating a consistent, inviting environment in both settings.

Boomerang Office Furniture partnered with Orchard View to fully reimagine their common areas as spaces employees would genuinely want to use.

• Indoor & Outdoor Dining Seating: We installed 15 tables, each seated with 4 chairs, creating 60 total seats spread across both the indoor common area and the outdoor space — giving employees flexible options no matter the weather or their preferred setting.
• Comfortable Lounge Seating Area: Beyond the dining tables, we designed a dedicated sitting area built for informal conversation, relaxed breaks, and the kind of spontaneous interaction that builds real workplace culture.
• Weather-Ready Outdoor Furniture: Every outdoor piece was selected specifically for durability against the elements, ensuring the space looks and performs well season after season without constant upkeep.
• Cohesive Indoor-Outdoor Design: We made sure the indoor and outdoor seating felt like part of the same thoughtful environment, rather than two disconnected spaces — reinforcing Orchard View’s commitment to a consistent employee experience throughout their campus.

Results:

The transformation gave Orchard View exactly what they were looking for — common areas that employees actually use:

• 15 tables and 60 chairs installed across indoor and outdoor common areas
